We pack each order with care to support safe transit, but factors such as carrier handling, transit delays, and weather conditions are beyond our control.
If your plant arrives damaged or in unsatisfactory condition, please notify us within 12 hours of delivery and include clear photos of the full plant and any affected areas. Based on the plant’s condition, current weather, and availability, we may offer store credit or a replacement.
To remain eligible for the Live Arrival Guarantee, customers must follow all unpacking and initial care guidelines. Repotting or altering the plant immediately after arrival will void this guarantee.
Additionally, failure to add Winter Package Protection when local temperatures are below 30°F will also void the Live Arrival Guarantee.
Understanding Plant Adjustment
Plants may experience temporary stress after shipping. Minor cosmetic damage, leaf drop, or signs of acclimation are common and not always covered under our guarantee. While we are a small business, we take pride in packing thoughtfully and doing everything we can to ensure a positive shipping experience.
Unpacking & Initial Care Instructions
-
Bring your package indoors promptly upon delivery to avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
-
If local temperatures are below 30°F, we recommend requesting your carrier hold the package at an access point to prevent it from sitting on a cold delivery truck.
-
Avoid overwatering upon arrival, especially during colder months. Most plants prefer allowing at least half of the soil to dry before watering again.
-
Wait a minimum of 14 days before repotting. This adjustment period helps reduce stress and supports long-term plant health.
